GKI-Erste economic sentiment index at its peak this year
In August the GKI-Erste economic sentiment index adjusted for seasonal effects increased slightly over July and reached this year’s peak. The previously measured positive sentiment prevailed among companies and households, or even slightly increased. Expectations remained unchanged in the business sector in August, whereas they improved considerably among consumers.
